Errors happen in every publication. The difference is whether the page afterwards shows what was corrected. Here it does, with a date on it.
Reporting an error
Email corrections@throughputjournal.com with the URL, the passage and what is wrong. Supporting evidence speeds things up. We aim to respond within two working days.
How corrections are handled
- Factual errors are corrected in place, with a dated note at the foot of the article recording what changed.
- Typographic and formatting fixes that do not alter meaning are made without a note.
- Errors that changed an article’s conclusion carry their note at the top of the piece.
- Removal is rare: a correction preserves the record and a silent deletion erases it. We remove only for legal or safety reasons.
What we will not do
Accurate reporting is not softened or removed on request, and editorial coverage cannot be bought or un-bought. That is not a service offered here.
